Music sampler for live performance
Beardyman is an improvisational beatboxer who samples and distorts his voice to create music.
We are designing software to help him quickly compose music the way he wants. As part of Sonaris Systems, we developed the Beardytron 5000 mkIII software with a new module called "Instant Drum Machine".

Frustrated by not being able to sing two notes at the same time, musical inventor Beardyman built a machine to allow him to create loops and layers from just the sounds he makes with his voice.

Here's what happens when Stingo Rarr' produces Beardyman live. One of you sent in the made up song title "Your pattern is as follows". Kraftwerk changed their style to adapt to advances in technology so, 1984 being the year of emulation chosen, heavy use of lo fi samples seemed appropriate.
