Slush Music // Music Tech Fest

Adrew Dubber : "Coming down after an amazing #MTFLabs week with some of the most brilliant people I know - most of whom had never met or worked together before, and yet managed to put together an incredible orchestrated performance in just a few days in the lead up to Slush 2017. It featured sounds generated live from the brainwaves of a blind singer, rhythm from the heartbeat of audience members, music grabbed from the air by a cyborg using her microchip implants, drumming (and more) by computer games producers, complex coding and datastream management by experts from Finland, Iran, Portugal and beyond, stunning pixelmapped visuals, and groundbreaking registration of all complex creative intellectual property rights live and in real time on the blockchain."

Incredible 4 days Hackaton with an incredible team, in Helsinki during the Slush Music !!

Sharjah Light Festival // Maestro

Maestro is project we have been working on for TigreLab, and Nomada, at the  in February 2017. For this interactive mapping we had as a canvas a nearly half kilometer wide building. Probably the larger interactive mapping ever done.

On the podium, only one user at a time could interact and make the building animate thanks to the movement of their hands.

Team : TigreLab for art direction and videos, Hand Coded for creating real-time animation and audio process, Sound Object for sound design, Protopixel for making the interactive surface

Hand Coded Team : Cyril Laurier, Maya Benainous, Stephanie Huerre, Joan Sandoval

OX // Video

At last a video of OX where you can visualise whats the "sensitive" machine is really doing when listening to the live music. There is no editing, everything is audio reactive, all composition is  made and manage by the machine, that control, screen, LEDS and motors. We are so proud about the result and we are looking forward to adapt the system to any kind of instalation to control, light, mapping,... anything ^_^

OX - Romain Tardy - Palais de Tokyo

We've been quite busy last year working on an artistic patronage for Romain Tardy.

To do so we had to build a light structure, with more than 5000 leds, a led screen, and 32 motors controled in real-time with Ledotron.

The ambition, is to have the set being able to react in real time, as long as we are talking about a DJ Booth, and that any DJ can potentially take the set up and play with it.

Agoria did play with it, for the first launch party at Palais de Tokyo, the museum of contemporary art in Paris.

We are analysing in real time the music that is playing, we have descriptors that tells us the Mood, the Beat (thanks to our friend Paul Brossier, aubio), segment detection, onsets..etc.

The first "all public" launch party will take place at the end of January in Rennes.

We are still working on it to bring the installation to its final stage.

We're happy to present an installation we've been doing with Maotik and Ezra for Mira festival, past summer in Barcelona. Its just the start of a new collaboration and we hope we'll be able to work shortly in a Dome. We wish to create an immersive and interactive sound & visual show. Thanks to a real time improvisations of two incredible artists and the tools we are developing for them...to be continued!
